How many times do you think about your brain health? Most of us don’t. But it’s so much more important than most of us think!

Brain health is your the key to your overall health because the brain is what makes everything happen. If your brain is healthy, your mind and body can be healthy.

This smoothie combines a bunch of brain superfoods like walnuts, wild blueberries, cacao, avocado, and coconut oil in one smoothie so that you can get a brain booster shot in one go. And if you make this smoothie for breakfast, you’re set for the day!

The recipe doesn’t include a sweetener and I like it that way (i feel like we need to give our bodies a break from sugar, especially at breakfast), but if you want some sweetness, you can add 20g of coconut sugar.

Substitutions:

  • Instead of coconut sugar to sweeten it (if desired), you can use 30ml maple syrup or 2 Medjool dates.

Great for:

Breakfast, snack.
